Knee Arthroscopy

Knee Arthroscopy

Knee arthroscopy is a keyhole minimally invasive surgical operation. It is the most common arthroscopic operation. Whole procedure is carried out through, two or three small cuts in the skin measuring about 1cm. Through these cuts a strong light source, a telescopic camera and variety of specialised instruments are passed in to the knee joint. Surgeon performs the operation using these instruments while watching the internal image of the knee on a display monitor.
